Now I am on computer #2 and camera #2 to catch up with summer once again. I am always confused whether to go in chronological order or backwards so that the reader views everything in order. I guess I am just happy to be including everything. Just think, once I blog through August I need to upload everything to shutterfly, and at some point I might even be able to print my two finished blogs in book form. someday, right? So here are some summer pix from late June and early July. Bubbles(6-28), parades, swimming, and a fun day trip to The Americana at Brand in Glendale(7-23), plus more of Laney's first solids(7-9).

Will I ever be caught up?

Sea World August 11
As most of you faithful blog readers know, I grew up about 45 minutes from Sea World of Ohio, and our family had season passes there for several years. We would go on a summer evening and catch a show, play a bit, and maybe see the fireworks.
I never visited Sea World of Florida during the 13 years I lived there, but I was very excited to experience Sea World again with my own child. So my parents and I, the kids, our cousin Alice, and her son Oqwe (9 days older than O.) all went to Sea World of San Diego on Aug. 11, the day after my uncle's birthday celebration (also in San Diego). It was a chillier and a bit overcast day, which was great. We went early, so the kids area wasn't too crowded yet. O. loved everything, and also going up the needle. We can't wait to return with daddy.
