Halloween block party and Trick or Treating
This year was our 4th annual neighborhood street block party/potluck on Halloween. Only since Halloween was on a Monday, we had the party Sunday afternoon. Here are block party and Trick or Treating pix from the next night too. Owen really enjoyed trick or treating this year; he kept saying "Maybe we can trick or treat at that door." He was a firefighter and Laney was a ladybug! My original idea for Owen was Charlie Chaplin since I figured it would be the last year I could decide, but when we went to Goodwill for costume ingredients we came up with the coolest firefighter jacket instead! Laney's costume I bought for .99 cents way back before I even had kids, and luckily it *just* fit. Who knew? Since she is our Laneybug, it was perfect. I made her antennae with black and silver pipe cleaners.

Lombardi Ranch- Pumpkin Patch-Oct. 22
We waited and waited for the weather to turn Fallish for our annual sojourn to Lombardi Ranch but it was hot anyway. We had fun. Owen went on the horse and buggy ride and the train this year. He loved sitting next to Laney on the train. Didn't get any pix of L and pumpkins, but got some cute shots around the Ranch.

Circus Vargas
For momma and daddy's 39th birthday the whole family including G and G Prichard went to Circus Vargas, a traveling circus in the mall parking lot. Two years ago momma went with Gramp Joe and Grandpa Prichard the week everyone was waiting for Owen to be born. Both kids (and the adults) had a blast. Laney was squealing in delight the whole time and O. loved every act.

Riley's Apple Farm-Oak Glen Sept. 17
In mid-September we went with my dad out to Oak Glen to pick apples. After apple picking, we met Carmen, Jesse, and Camilla for lunch at one of the apple-themed restaurants in the area.
