Picking our Christmas Tree at Frosty's

Ever since we moved to Santa Clarita in 2007 we have been picking our tree at Frosty's just down the street. This year we went on Saturday, December 17. There was no one else there when we arrived and later one other family came to pick a tree. We went with an 8 footer this year. Owen just loved his "big tree". Laney was all smiles too.

4 months behind! May 7- celebrating Mom and Dad's 40th wedding anniversary a day early

For their 40th wedding anniversary, we went to lunch on the Queen Mary in Long Beach and then to the Long Beach Aquarium. My folks stayed on the Queen Mary overnight, where dad had a repeat of an episode from 40 years ago when he had an allergic reaction and was terribly sick all night. I'll let the pictures tell the story.

Catching up- Cowboy Festival!

The first weekend of May we all had weekend two day passes to the local Cowboy Festival held at Melody Ranch, a local movie studio old west town. It was so fun! Can't wait for next year! The kids enjoyed the music and momma enjoyed people watching and eating Indian Fry Bread! yumm-o! Daddy enjoyed the cobbler. Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed it all!

First Hike-April 3

More catchup- March 13- Day trip to Descanso Gardens

For our last outing before I went back to work we went with my parents to beautiful Descanso Gardens and out for Japanese after. It was a great day. (picture heavy post/double post with Casa Luna)
