Blue Day-July 11

I had wanted to try color themed days with Owen this summer but all we ever got to was blue. No matter, turns out that is his first favorite color. We worked on colors a lot this summer. At first he only knew orange, then he would mix up black and white a lot. Now he is pretty good with them, but doesn't always get red.

For blue day, he had a blue bowl, blue spoon, and blue cup at breakfast. He also had blueberries in his cereal and we made blue milk. Then we went on a blue hunt and collected lots of blue toys. Later, we sponge painted sea animals with blue paint on blue paper. He also wore blue that day, though all you see pictured are his pajamas. (at least mostly blue) It was fun!
