Wondertime

Even though we don't have kids yet, we receive a parenting magazine for fun,ideas and such. This month's issue arrived yesterday, and it is the best yet! So far, I read an interesting article about the original Kindergarten of Frederick Froebel, got a great recipe for "powerballs" (think honey, pnutbutter,flax seed, oats, choc. chips, and nuts/dried fruit in a tasty little ball for those in between meal munchies!), and learned about the German tradition of giving first graders Schultute cones, filled with candy and school supplies to signify the beginning of school. Other "mommy mags" I am interested in include Brain, Child and Mothering. Not that I need them right now or anything. Because I don't. heehee
