Imagine this, me hanging out in a big comfy chair, summer legs thrown haphazardly over the edge, with a pretty kitty on the BRAND NEW floor under my feet and a BIG PILE of mail in my lap! Among the items in the pile: 3 treasures
1- a package from my college buddy J, with a THREE PAGE handwritten letter on beautiful stationery and a book all about friendship...I read the letter three times and savored every quote in the book- thanks J!
2- a postcard addressed to Lu from her "grands" mini-break last weekend...she enjoyed having her own mail (when she wasn't being distracted by the 1/2 dozen flies let in by the flooring installers)
3-a cute thank you note in our 'summer signature colors' (blue and choc. brown) from d's cousin A. who just GRADUATED from high school and is heading off to college...so cool!
